In the early 1900s Robert P. Schofield Sr. established Schofield Hardware in the 100 Block of West Evans Street in Florence. In 1950 the store moved to a larger facility at 276 W. Evans Street. In 1960 Robert P. Schofield Sr. passed away and left the operation to his two sons Robert and Charles who operated the store at that location until 1963 when it was moved to new facilities on Cashua Drive in Florence. In 1967 Robert and Charles Schofield separated their business relationship. Charles and his two sons, Marshall and James at that time owned and operated the Heritage Inn and Restaurant in Florence along with several shopping center real estate holdings. In the early 1970s, Robert Schofield sold Schofield Hardware to outside investors. In January of 1985 Carolina Hardware & Supply Inc. opened its doors for business. Charles, Marshall and James Schofield along with John Frank established this company in a 24,000 square foot facility on 3 acres of land. In 1996 the name of the company was changed to, Carolina SupplyHouse, Inc. which now occupies 125,000 square feet of warehouse facilities on 12 acres of land. Carolina SupplyHouse, Inc. employees have many years of experience in the construction and contracting industry. This real world experience allows our staff to help our customers find solutions to their problems.

Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. reserves the right to refuse the sale of any product to any customer. Certain products sold by Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. are limited for sale to only professional or licensed customers by its vendors and or governmental authorities and regulations, and Carolina Supplyhouse Inc. decisions in this matter are final.
Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. reserves the right to update publishing errors in its catalogs or on its website. Product pictures and illustrations are for illustrative purposes only and do not represent the color, shape, size, quantity or accessories contained with any product.
Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. will assist customers with (MSDS) Material Safety Data Sheets as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. MSDS sheets are made and maintained by the manufacturer of the product represented and Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. makes no warranties and expressly disclaims all liability to any customer or user with respect to the accuracy of the information or the suitability of the recommendations in any MSDS. Customer and manufacturer are solely responsible for any reliance on or use of any information, and for use or application of any product.
Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. and customer are independent contractors and not principal and agent. Nothing contained in these terms and conditions shall be construed to create a partnership, dealership, reseller, agency, employment or joint venture relationship. Customer will not have the right to bind or otherwise obligate Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. in any manner, nor will customer represent to anyone that it has the right to do so.
Prices:
$25.00 minimum order is required.
Prices listed do not include freight, handling fees, taxes, and are subject to correction or change without notice and is limited to quantities on hand. Prices on some items especially commodity products change weekly if not daily and will be quoted at time of sale. Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. reserves the right to accept or reject any order originating from this website.
Shipping Charges and Shipping Policy:
We Do Not Ship To California.
We only ship within the United States and Canada.
Shipping and handling charges will be quoted to you before your order is shipped.
Shipping by UPS or the United Postal Service will be used as long as the product and amount requested can be shipped by these methods.
Common Carrier shipments will be on a freight line of our choice. Shipping charges will include handling charges for packing and materials.
We do not ship any item which is considered HAZMAT by public transportation companies. All HAZMAT materials shipped on company vehicles are shipped in original cartons only and will only be shipped in quantities that do not require placarding of our vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.
Shortages and Damages
All our orders are double checked to cut down on errors in packing. All shortages and damages must be reported within 48 hours after receipt. Shortages and damages not reported within 48 hours will be refused.
Return Policy
Product returns & cancellations:
All special order cancellations must be approved and are subject to a restocking fee and other charges imposed by the manufacturer.
Products for return must first receive a RGA.
All claims must be accompanied by invoice within 5 days, all items must be returned with all the parts and returned in the undamaged package originally supplied by the manufacturer. Refunds will be by the same method used for payment.
Sales Tax
Customers are responsible for the payment of all applicable Sales, excise or other taxes, or providing a valid sales tax exemption certificate for the state into which the product is delivered.
Payment and credit terms
Payment for items ordered from this website are payable by certified or bank checks, money orders, Visa, Master Charge or American Express credit cards. Customers who have established credit accounts with Carolina SupplyHouse, payment terms are net 10th the month after purchase. Credit accounts are only extended to customers (excluding governmental entitites) operating out of South Carolina and North Carolina. Credit issued by Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. to open account customers may be revoked or suspended at any time at the sole discretion of Carolina SupplyHouse Inc.
Sale of Refrigerant Policy
In accordance with the Clean Air Act of 1990, as amended, sale of any refrigerant will be restricted to resale purchases and or to certified professional service technicians. To purchase regulated refrigerant products, all customers must present a certification card or sign a statement of resale to certified customers. We do not ship refrigerant by public transportation. All refrigerant is to be picked up at our location or shipped on one of our company trucks to a restricted delivery area.
Warranty
Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. makes no warranty about the product it sells expressed or implied. All warranties are between the manufacturer of the product and the customer. Carolina SupplyHouse will assist its customers in processing of warranties with the manufacturers that we represent. This assistance can range from providing warranty information with contact information for the vendor, to repair and replacement of defective parts and equipment solely dependent upon the manufacturers policies and procedures in this regard. The manufacturers decisions regarding warranties are final and Carolina SupplyHouse makes no representation that it will go above or beyond what the manufacturer provides in the warranting of a product. All cost for returning a product for repair or replacement, cost for shipping of new parts to Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. or the customer are the responsibility of the customer.
Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. makes no warranty or affirmation of fact, expressed or implied, other than as set forth in the limited warranty statement above, Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. disclaims any liability for claims arising out of product misuse, improper product selection, improper installation, product modification, misrepair or misapplication.
Limitation of Liability: Carolina SupplyHouse Inc. expressly disclaims any liability for consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
